Empowered Birth for Couples

An inspiring workshop for women and their birth companions. You'll hear natural birth wisdom stories. You'll learn about the reality of medicalized birth today and empower yourself with the facts to choose an empowered birth vision that will allow you to feel supported and confident. It's your body, your baby, your birth. You can do this your way and with support.

Prenatal Yoga classes

You will find my current schedule of prenatal yoga class under the "schedule" tab. Pregnancy is the perfect time in your life to practice yoga. You can begin in your second trimester and continue practicing right into labor! Prenatal yoga classes are different from gentle yoga classes in that the focus is all about nurturing and empowering your body, mind and spirit to prepare you for the joyful journey into conscious mothering. We avoid the belly-down postures, inversions and deep twists and focus on postures that cultivate confidence, strength and softness. This class includes some vocal toning which teaches us how to ride the waves of sensation using the breath as the surfboard.
